Mewinzha is a non-profit organization created to promote healthy birthing practices by:

*working as doulas, childbirth educators, and breastfeeding coaches to empower women during pregnancy, labor, deliver and breastfeeding;

*providing support and educational services for pregnant women and their families; and by

*reclaiming and promoting healthy birth practices for Aniishinaabe people.
